Arsenal news

24-year-old goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski committed his future to the Gunners by signing a new long-term contract with the Club. Elsewhere Cesc Fabregas bagged Spain's fourth goal in their classy Confederations Cup victory over New Zealand. Also in international action were Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs who both started for England Under-21s as they beat Finland in their European Championship opener. Elsewhere Bacary Sagna dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

The DRAFT fixture list for next season has now been announced. Arsenal have been handed an away trip to Everton on the opening day of the season and will entertain Portsmouth in the first home Premier League clash of the campaign on August 22.
